A Little Ray of Giving

A Little Ray of Giving is a programme where Ray White offices partner with local community charities across New Zealand to deliver an inspiring Christmas campaign — bringing a little extra light to many during the festive season.

Launched in 2012, this annual programme collects gifts for families in need across New Zealand and Australia. The goal is simple: to support and bring smiles to the faces of children and families who may be doing it tough this Christmas. Community members generously donate gifts, and Ray White offices — together with our charity partners — ensure these gifts are delivered to local families who need them most.

In 2014 alone, Ray White offices across New Zealand collected more than 3,000 gifts, along with countless donations of food, vouchers and essential items.

Christmas is traditionally a time shared with family, filled with joy, connection and celebration. But for many families across New Zealand, circumstances can change in an instant. The festive season can bring emotional, physical and financial pressure — and that’s exactly why our Little Ray of Giving programme exists: to ease a little of that burden.

“We are extremely proud of our Ray White Mt Roskill office for embracing the Little Ray of Giving programme again this year to support those in our local communities. Christmas is about family, and the generosity we’ve seen from our members and our neighbourhood is truly heartwarming. Sometimes, even the smallest gift can make the biggest difference to someone in need,” said May Ma, Director of Ray White Mt Roskill.
